Caroline Barlow, a Senior Training Administrator, from Watford, is the first individual to conduct her fund-raising on-line for HELP A POOR CHILD.
Caroline is taking part in the 10k Nike run on 8th October and, using the linkhttp://www.justgiving.com/hapc/donate, she has been able to create her own sponsors page, to help her canvas for sponsors, without leaving her chair!

Caroline recently said “Now I didn’t know until recently, but 10K is actually over 6 miles! Which is very far, especially for someone who has never before run to catch a train or bus. So please, please do support this worthy cause by donating whatever you can afford. “What’s in it for me?” I hear you ask. Well, if the thought of me, running like an utter fool and being the same colour as a London bus isn’t reason enough, then consider the warm glowing feeling you’ll get from supporting a charity that helps disadvantaged children.
What is Barlow getting out of it?- hopefully a few pints, but more probably a couple of blisters!
